Ghanaian international, Raphael Dwamena has indicated that he ‘cannot be like Tony Yeboah’ as he awe the excellent footballing career of the African legend.
Tony Yeboah was a great player for Ghana and shown his prowess during his days in the Premier League for Leeds United wayback 1993. He was also an integral member of the Ghanaian national team and paid his dues as a prolific goal poacher.
Dwamena, 21, who recently made his debut for the Black Stars in Ghana’s 5-0 win over Ethiopia and netted a brace on that day says he is ‘nowhere’ near the former Black Stars player indicating that he wish he can only get somewhere closer to the ex Leeds United forward.
Raphael Dwamena who scored in FC Zurich’s seasonal opener told KweseESPN; “Tony was a great player for Ghana and as a young player; you will definitely have someone to look up to”.
“I cannot be like him because I have not reached his level yet. I can only hope to get anywhere closer to what he did”, the 21 year old added.
