Ex Black Stars and Former Accra Hearts of Oak winger Laryea Kingston has narrated how his ten year old boy prevented him from going bankrupt.
He said he has all praise to his son who saw him messing around with the money he has and told him to stop which brought him back to his normal senses.
He said he was on a night spending spree with friends and loved ones because he has more to spend but was later asked by his son why he is spending that much and made him realised he is making a mistake.
He made this known when he was speaking on GhOne TV Football Legends Show on how players could prevent themselves from going bankrupt. He said; “Sometimes I will go out with my friends, spend all the money on me and go back for more in the house”.
“I once put money into three ‘Ghana must Go’ bags and started spending them one by one”, he indicated.
“I carried the money in my car and spent two of those bags before my ten year old son told me, Daddy why are spending your money like that?”, he added.
Kingston continued; “I had picked the bag with the money in my car and all of a sudden my son’s statement shook me”.
“I put off the engine and came back to the house and slept, then I realise I had just saved 100 million cedis on one night”, he revealed.
“I was having hundred million to blow away but my son’s advice saved the money”, the ex Hearts of Midlothian winger added.
