MO FARAH TO DELAY HIS TRACK RETIREMENT TILL AUGUST 24

Briton and four time Olympic champion Mo Farah is set to delay his track retirement till August 24 to race in the finals of the Diamond League in Zurich, the organisers has indicated.

Farah who said his last track race will be on August 20 have qualified for the 5,000m Diamond League final in Switzerland and must now wait after four days to end the track career.

Farah who won the European 5,000m and 10,000m gold at Zurich’s Letzigrund Stadium in 2014 indicated that he will focus on marathons after the World Championships in London, which run fromĀ  August 4 t0 13.

The organisers released a statement saying; “Now, he plans to bid the track farewell in the legendary arena”.
