Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has shown appreciation to the numerous support they received when they were involved in an accident on July 12.
The club hierarchy has thanked all those who helped the club in the tragic incident till they buried their deputy equipment’s officer who passed away when the accident occurred.
They indicated that they are ‘overwhelmed’ by the gestures handed them adding that they are positive.

Management has expressed its profound gratitude to individuals and institutions who reached out to the team following the July 12 accident involving players and officials who were returning from Accra to Kumasi after a league game with Inter Allies.
Managers of the club they have been overwhelmed by the wonderful show of love and support extended to them adding that, it was important they showed appreciation to everyone who visited the accident victims and in diverse ways also supported them.
Operations Manager, Ernest Owusu Ansah told Asantekotokosc.com stated Management’s thankfulness. He said the concern showed by individuals and institutions have been positive.
“On behalf of Management, I thank everyone who did one thing or the other to support us at the hospital and even during the one week and funeral rites of our departed colleague”.
Among the unexhaustive list of institutions that came to the aid of the club are the Ghana Football Association, the Premier League Board, the Ghana League Clubs Association (Ghalca), the Youth and Sports Ministry (MOYS), the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), and Hollard Insurance.
Club sponsors, the Ghana Oil Company Limited and their officials; Denk Pharmacy and Multi Credit and many others as well visited the victims and made cash donations.
