The treasury department of FC Barcelona have accept a cheque of 222 Million Euros which is the release clause of Neymar Santos Junior.
Earlier on in the morning the solicitors of the Brazilian star were denied the chance to pay the money by the Spanish League Authorities ( LFP).
The President of the LFP, Mr Javier Thebes outlined that his office will not collect the money because PSG had not explained their source of the huge money.
They then made their way to the offices of FC Barcelona and delivered the cheque to club at exactly 18:30 pm Spanish time.
Juan de Dios Crespo is the legal counsel that led Neymar’s team to do the delivery and Barcelona’s Oscar Grau was present to receive the cheque.
Neymar informed the President and his colleagues of his intention to leave the Catalan club yesterday.
The player is now heading to Paris to finish his transfer to PSG and would be given a rousing welcome at the City center tomorrow when he is presented to his new family.
Neymar came to Barcelona in 2013 from Santos amid controversial issues that have surrounded his transfer to Barcelona for 4 years, some of which are still being battled in court by the lawyers of the Copa Del Rey Champions.
