The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the referee for Ghana’s 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Congo Brazzaville next month.
CAF has appointed Tunisian referee Youssef Essrayi to handle the game with the 40 year old assisted by Jridi Faouzi and Marwene Saad on the lines and Nasrallah Jaouadi as the fourth official.
The Tunisian referee who has previously officiated in the World Cup qualifiers became a FIFA referee in 202 and has vast experience at his belt.
Ghana take on Congo at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, 1st September as they seek their first win in the last qualifying stage.
Egypt currently leads Group D with maximum points after winning their first two games with Ghana in 3rd after picking just a point from two games.
