Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Steve Pollack has indicated he wants his club to be fearsome like Manchester United after watching the Red devils beat WestHam United 4-0 in their Premier League opening game.
The head coach who was in clutches but steered his club to record a 1-1 draw with Accra Hearts of Oak after their return to play competitive game since the July 12 accident was buoyed by how the English club played their game and wants his club to replicate that showing.
Brit Steve Pollack who was preparing his side for today’s MTN FA Cup quarter final clash with Division One side, NEA Salamina at the Baba Yara stadium said; “I watched Manchester United’s 4-0 victory over West Ham and I was so impressed with their output”.
He continued; “That is how I want to build my team so as teams facing Kotoko needs to prepare well before he can beat us”.
On his take on the upcoming FA Cup clash, the Brit said; “We are ready for the FA Cup match against Nea Salamina on Wednesday”.
“Every team playing Kotoko take it as final”, he added.
In relation to his five players that were on international assignment with the Black Stars ‘B’, the coach was quick to add that; “I have spoken to my players who went on national duty and they are ready for the Wednesday encounter”.
