COACH J.E SARPONG CALLS ON MAXWELL KONADU TO HONOURABLY RESIGN FOR FAILING GHANAIANS

Coach J.E Sarpong calls for Maxwell Konadu to resign

Coach J.E Sarpong has called on head coach of the Black Stars ‘B’ Maxwell Konadu to honourably resign as he has failed Ghanaians.

Ghana lost 4-3 on aggregate to Burkina Faso in the 2018 CHAN qualifiers thus failing to appear at the tournament for the second consecutive time.

The veteran coach joins the masses that are calling for the former Wa All Stars and Asante Kotoko head coach to call it a quit as he has failed Ghanaians.

In an interview with Atinka FM, Accra, the veteran coach said; “I don’t think he must even be told to step down”.

“If I was him, I would have resigned as soon as the team failed to qualify”, he continued.

When asked why he was making that assertions, J.E Sarpong added; “He has failed all Ghanaians. He has been at that position for the past three years and failed to qualify the team the last term”.

“So this time around I will like to see him resign to avoid further embarrassment”, he concluded.

Maxwell Konadu is expected to hand callups as Ghana prepares to host the maiden WAFU tournament next month.
