KUMASI ASANTE KOTOKO IS 82 YEARS TODAY

Kumasi Asante Kotoko celebrates their 82nd birthday today having been established on 31st August, 1935.

The Porcupine Warriors which according to history was founded by 3 young Ashanti men led by a young driver Mr. Kwasi Kumah and ably supported by L.Y. Asamoah an electrician.

The club which has won a record 24 Ghana Premier league titles and has twice won the CAF Champions League is 82 today.

The club in 2011 was voted African’s Club of the 20th century by the The International Federation of Football History and Statistics.
