Italian Newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport has published the salaries of players of Juventus FC with Kwadwo Asamoah at 19th position.
The publication reveals that Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah is paid €2M annually. Kwadwo’s contract is suppose to end in 2017 but is not likely to extend as his supposed move to Galatasary has still not closed because the Turkish market will close on Friday. He earns the same as Ruigani and De Sciglio.
On top of the list is the two Argentine attackers Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala.
Gonzalo Higuain who joined the Turin club from Napoli two seasons ago, earns €7.5M a year on a contract that expires in 2020.
His international colleague Paulo Dybala joins him at the top after his new deal until 2022 took his yearly earnings to €7M a year.
New signing Douglas Costa goes straight into third place; the Brazilian having penned a five-year agreement this summer worth €6M a season.
Club legend and current captain Gianluigi Buffon is placed at fourth position €4.5M along with Bosnian international Miralem Pjanic.
Other new acquisitions this summer include Blaise Matuidi (€3.5M), Wojciech Szczesney (€3.5M), Benedikt Howedes (€2.5M) and Matteo Di Sciglio (€2M).
The Bianconeri’s total wage bill runs out at €164M for the current campaign with coach Max Allegri earning €7M a-season as he tries to steer the Old Lady to yet another Serie A title.
