JOEY BARTON SAYS ROY HODGSON IS NOT FIT TO HANDLE CRYSTAL PALACE

Former Newcastle player, Joey Barton has blasted former English Manager, Roy Hodgson questioning his ability as a good manager to handle Crystal Palace.

Barton spoke on Talk sports and spoke on the imminent appointment of Roy Hodgson who is billed to replace newly sacked Coach Frank de Boer from Crystal Palace.

Palace lost to Burnley on Sunday which made it four looses in four matches which has seen them lying 19th on the league table.

Barton on his interview with Talk Sports said, ” He has no charisma and no personality at all”, he said about Roy.

Hodgson is set to sign a two year deal to take over the ruins of Crystal Palace as De Boer departs with a £5million pay-off after signing a three-year contract. The former Ajax coach makes the record of been the shortest serving manager in the Premier League with respect to matches.

De Boer's Palace lost every game this season and are yet to score a Premier League goal

Barton explained his rationale behind the imminent employment of Roy Hogdson.

“Did you see him at the back end of his England campaign ? ”

‘He just looked like he needed to be taken out into the back garden and have someone pull the trigger on him.
“A lot of people say he’s a great fella, but I just don’t think [he’s the right fit].
‘I didn’t see the Frank de Boer appointment, I thought it was a bit left field and I think if you’re them you want somebody who lifts the place up.” Barton lamented.
