The UEFA Champions League Matches played on Wednesday saw Tottenham Hotspurs making a great impact this time round as compared to last season.

He scored two goals with the second one been a penalty whereas Captain Sergio Ramos also scored a bicycle kick to make it 3-0 in the second half.
Turkish Champions Besiktas came to Portugal and conquered FC Porto in a 3-1 win.
Talisca scored Besiktas first goal in the 14th minute after which Dusko Tosic unfortunately scored an own goal to equalize for the Portuguese club. Cenk Tosun then scored to make it 2-1 after seven minutes. Former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel scored the third in the 86th minute to kill off the consistent pressure from Porto to equalize for a 2-2 scoreline but the goal from Babel sealed the game for Beskitas.
Germany’s new entrant RB Leipzig could not hold unto their goal lead for a ling time when Monaco pulled the goal back to make it 1-1. Emil Forsberg on the 33rd minute whereas Youri Teilemans equalized one minute later.
Pep Guardiola got off to a great start when his Manchester City side beat Feynoord 5-0 in Netherlands. John Stones scored a cheeky goal to open the scoreline after just 2 minutes of play. He scored again in the 63rd minute to make it 4-0 with Sergio Aguero and Jesus Navas scoring the second and third goals. This increases the tally of goals scored by City to nine within four days as they disciplined Liverpool 5-0 at home during the weekend preceding the Champions League day.
Taison and Ferreyra gave Shakhtar Donestk 2-0 lead before Akadios Milik pulled one back for Napoli when the two clashed in Ukraine.
The biggest fixture was in Liverpool when the Mersyside club played host to Seville Club. Seville scored first when Ben Yedder did a tap in from a low cross on the 5th minute before Roberto Firmino also scored from a similar fashion to make it 1-1. Mohammed Salah got the second goal for Liverpool on the 37th minute to make it 2-1 before the break but Argentine Correa did a placement in the second half to level the score line making it 2-2 at the end of the game. Firmino hit the post in the first half from the spot and Luis Muriel had the last minute chance to make it 3-2 for Seville CF but hist shot missed the post by inches.
In the same group, MK Maribo drew 1-1 at home with Sparta Moscow. Samedov scored first for the Russian team before Bohar equalized on the 85th minute to make it 1-1.
