AYEWS MISS OUT AGAIN AS WAKASO RETURNS FOR BLACK STARS GAME AGAINST EGYPT

Coach James Kwasi Appiah has release the list of players to feature for the Senior National Team, Black Stars in the World Cup qualifier against Egypt.

The Black Stars will host the Pharaohs of Egypt in the last round of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers to be played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on 12th November, 2017.

Any results that go against the Egyptians would not affect them much as they are already through to the World Cup to be hosted by Russia. Therefore, the match is set to be used by the former National team captain to assess his players and further work on his supposedly rebuilding project on the Black Stars.

Thomas Teye Partey who scored four goals in the last three matches for Ghana is due to sit out because of suspension due to yellow card accumulation. Skipper Asamoah Gyan returns to the side after missing the team’s last two matches through injury. Deportivo Alaves midfielder, Mubarack Wakaso also makes a return to the team after been left out for some time. There is also new entrant, Nana Amponsah who plays for Waasland in Belgium and that is not much surprising as Kwasi Appiah is noted for the widening of his range of call ups.
