The Chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee, Mr. Kurt Okraku has labelled the 2017 edition as a good tournament.
Kurt, who is also the CEO of Dreams FC also congratulated Kumasi Asante Kotoko who were the eventual winners of the tournament.
Kotoko won the trophy after beating arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak 3-1 on Sunday in Tamale.
Three goals from striker Saddick Adams in the first half was good enough to settle the game for the Porcupine Warriors.

Speaking on Metro FM on Monday, Mr. Okraku said “It was a good tournament and I will say a big thanks to all the 112 participating teams”
“When we decided to send the MTN FA CUP FINAL to Tamale was a challenge but were able to overcome it” he added.
The MTN FA Cup Committee head denied media reports of a fight between himself and the Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Obed Acheampong, “There was nothing like an assault or any form of fight between Obed and I,but I personally didn’t know Obed was a member of the Kotoko Communication team” Okraku explained.
“I will congratulate Kotoko but I think they need to strengthen their squad in order to do well in the CAF Confederations Cup” he concluded.
