KOTOKO COACH STEVEN POLLACK OUTLINES HIS VISION FOR THE COMING SEASON

Coach of MTN FA Cup Champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Steven Pollack has outlined his vision for the Porcupine Warriors ahead of the 2018 season.

Kotoko secured a qualification berth for CAF Confederation Cup after hammering Accra Hearts Of Oak 3-1 in the final of the MTN FA Cup final.

Pollack was the special guest at the studios of Nhyira FM on their power sports on Thursday.

He was candid on his vision for the two time African Club Champions as they embark on another journey in Africa in the coming season.

“I can’t promise the CAF Confederations Cup trophy but can do after we qualify for the group stage.

“Am disappointed at our position on the league log,I thought we could have done better” Steve Pollack said.

Pollack also gave his view of his current team and how he plans to shape up the squad to make them more competitive.

“Should I stay at Kotoko,I will recruit at most 6players and maintain a size of 24-26 players.   I don’t know any player called Larbi Koomson, I have not recommended him to anybody, Pollack emphasised.

Comparison of Players

“Emmanuel Gyamfi is better than Patrick Razak,Razak moves with his head down to get a penalty but Emmanuel Gyamfi always has his head up”.

Aside players of Asante Kotoko, Vincent Atinga is my best Defender,Winful Cobbinah my best midfielder and Stephen Sarfo my best Striker ” Pollack concluded.

He is due to leave for Finland for his holidays after agreeing a two contract extension with Asante Kotoko.
