ASHANTI INTER SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES FOOTBALL -DEFENDING CHAMPIONS KASS, GET THE BIGGEST UPSET ON MATCH DAY 3

The Ashanti Regional Inter Schools and Colleges Football Group games entered day three on Wednesday with defending Champions Kumasi Anglican SHS getting the biggest upset as they were eliminated in a group which was won by Mansoman SHS.

The following school have qualified to the last round of 32 to be played at the Baba Stadium; Collins SHS, St George’s SHS, Mansoman SHS, Adu Gyamfi SHS,T. I. Amass ksi, Juaben SHS ,Islamic SHS and Effisco

Adu Gyamfi shs 2:0 Mankranso

Mankranso 0:1 Antoa

Adu Gyamfi 2:1 Komfo Anokye

Antoa 0:1 Adu Gyamfi shs

Adu Gyamfi SHS qualify with 9 points

At KTI Venue

Matchc 1, OLAG 0 – Collins 2

Match 2, Achina 1- Ofoase 0

Match 3, OLAG 3– Achina 2

Match 4, Collins 3 – Ofoase 0

Match 5,OLAG 1 – Ofoase 4

Match 5 ,Achina 0- Collins 5

Collins SHS qualified with 9 points

 

At KASS Venue

ISLAMIC 1- GHANAMY 0
TOSS 2- GHANAMY 0
ISLAMIC 0- TOSS 0
ISLAMIC WON 4:2 ON PENALTIES

ISLAMIC SHS qualified with 5 PTS

 

At Prempeh College Venue

Asokore AMASS (1)- Bosome shs (0)

Jacobu (0)- Bosome shs (1)

AMASS (2)- Jacobu (0)

Asokore Amass qualified with 6 points

At OKESS Centre, defending champions could only manage there points from the two games played after drawing all the games and winning one and losing one on penalties. Mansoman managed to win one in regulation time to secure qualification to the last round of 32.

At Armed Forces SHTS Venue

Kuntanase based St George’s qualified with 8 points to make their second appearance at the last 32.
