There was joyous moments at the Cuitat Joan Gamper training grounds of FC Barcelona when their most expensive player Ousmane Dembele returned to training after a long absence.
The French winger sustained a calf injury in September when Barcelona beat Getafe CF 2-1 in the Colisium Alfonso Perez.
He took part in their usual rondo during the training session which was supervised by head coach Ernesto Valverde.
The current leaders of the Spanish La Liga got back for recovery training after the beat Portuguese side Sporting CP in the last round of the group games for the UEFA Champions League 2017/18 season.
The session also saw Arda Turan get the medical all clear with FC Barcelona’s next game coming on Sunday (8.45pm CET) in the Estadio de la Céramica against Villarreal, one of the most demanding away trips of the season. The Turk is yet to feature for the Blaugrana ever since Valverde took from Luis Enrinque Martinez.
Also there were five players from the B squad who joined the senior side for the session and they are; Palencia, Aleñá, David Costas, Jose Arnaiz and Oriol Busquets as well as U19 goalkeeper Iñáki Peña.
