Ghanaian midfielder Kingsley Sarfo has been arrested again in Sweden for defiling a 15-year-old girl.
The Black Star player has been detained in the Swedish capital Malmo since Wednesday afternoon according to Kickgh sources.
He was arrested by the Swedish Police and charged with a similar raping case last year but was later found not guilty on the rape allegations slapped on him.
His club Malmo FF have suspended the Ghana international indefinitely following the sexual assault allegations.
“We have just been confirmed that the player has been arrested. Based on that perspective, we have shut down the player in Malmö FF, Managing Director of Malmö FF Niclas Carlnén”.
Sarfo earned his debut call-up to feature for Ghana last year in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers after snubbing Sweden.
Sarfo, who was and born and raised in Ghana to Ghanaian parents, was being courted by Sweden to play for their national team, having previously turned down the chance to play for the Black Stars.
But he fully committed himself to playing for Ghana last week when he confirmed his decision to opt for the Black Stars and was subsequently named in the squad to face Uganda last November.
Since confirming the decision to play for Ghana he has faced sustained attacks from the Swedish authorities and media which has proven to be an interesting coincidence.
