As the FIFA week of international matches approaches, the Ghana Football Association and the Management Committee are working around the clock to ensure that the Black Stars also get busy. Therefore Stars have been penciled to play Iceland and Ivory Coast in two friendlies schedule for March.
The two games will be played on March 19 and March 27 respectively in the first major international window of the calendar year.
But the GFA and management committee are yet to confirm the proposed friendlies for the Black Stars.
Iceland who are new entrants for the FIFA World Cup are planning to use the Stars game as a test for their group D game against African side, Nigeria.
Neighbours Ivory Coast who also failed to qualify for the World Cup are also planning to use the game to reshape their team ahead of the AFCON 2019 qualifiers which are due to continue in 2018.
On the FIFA ranking, the Black would look to improve their 50th position as against Iceland who are ranked 20th and Ivory Coast 61st respectively.
Ghana lost the last two international friendlies against USA and Mexico.
