KOTOKO TO LEAVE FOR BRAZZAVILLE WITH A CHATTERED FLIGHT

Kumasi Asante Kotoko Communications Director Obed Acheampong has assured fans of better preparations for the return leg of the confederations cup against CARA.

According to Obed, management is going to do everything possible to go and secure qualification over CARA in Brazzaville, even if it has to take going with a chattered flight.

“We are going to do everything possible as management to get the job done over CARA. We are considering going by a chattered flight to Brazzaville so as to make things easier”, Obed confirmed to Fox FM in Kumasi.

“We have also made concrete contact with the Ghanaian community in Congo and our advance party would also leave earlier to work on preparations before the actual team arrive in Congo”, the Communication’s Head revealed.

The Coach of CARA Brazzaville signaled Kotoko that, they (CARA) will dismantle Kotoko when they come over for the second leg in Congo.

Kotoko were awarded four penalties of which they could only score the last on to make the scoreline 1-0 after the 90 minutes of action.

CARA were also awarded a penalty but failed to convert as Felix Annan in post for the reds saved the kick by the CARA goal-Keeper.

The Kotoko contingent is set to leave Ghana on Monday for Brazzaville ahead of the second leg to be played on Wednesday.
