Recently dismissed Asante Kotoko coach Steven Pollack has accused the Management of the Club as ‘vision-less’ and ‘without’ proper planning.
The Asante Kotoko Management led by Dr. Kwame Kyei, a successful Business man sacked Pollack after almost a year of managing the Kumasi based team as Head Coach.
The former King Faisal trainer explained thus ” well let’s just say, I don’t know what the planning order is so you need to ask them what the plan is. I do not know what the plan is…”
“I’m a bit sad that I’m leaving. I feel like, I need to go home, have a little break; get refreshed mentally and physically, spend some time with my family and who knows I could be back here in a couple of weeks’ time” Pollack told Accra based Citi FM.
“But if I was to come back to Ghana, It has to be a club that actually has a vision and plan, and a strategy for one, two, three-four-five seasons and they are ambitious. Not like hey! We got to win today otherwise you are out,” he said. he said.
Pollack, 57, was fired last month after he failed to guide Kotoko through to the group stage of CAF Confederation Cup. The Porcupine Warriors suffered a first round exit at the hands of Congolese side CARA Brazzaville.
George, Steven Pollack, joined the Porcupine warriors in middle of last season. He won the MTN FA Cup and finish 5th in the league. he joined Kotoko from Berekum FC where he worked as the technical directors.
