English Premier League side, Manchester United have confirmed the termination of their contract with Swedish Star striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to ESPN, the MLS club will pay Ibrahimovic $3million total using targeted allocation money.
The 36-year-old will not be a designated player, with LA already using its three allotted slots for highly paid players on Giovani dos Santos, Jonathan dos Santos and Romain Alessandrini.
The deal is expected to be announced by the end of the week.
Zlatan enjoyed a successful debut campaign at Old Trafford before a serious knee injury curtailed that – impacting his influence this term too.

The Red Devils announced the news via a short statement on their official website.
‘Manchester United confirms that it has agreed to the termination of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract with immediate effect,’ it reads.
‘Everyone at the club would like to thank Zlatan for his contribution to the team since his arrival and wishes him well for the future.’
Ibrahimovic is determined to prolong his professional career, despite only returning from a serious knee injury this season.
