After Countries confirmed their 23 men for the FIFA World Cup to be hosted by Russia, it has been established that Barcelona became the first club to feature a player in the eight groups that make up the 2018 World Cup.
The Catalans have 14 players with assured presence in the competition, distributed amongst nine teams. Only in Group D will there be a confrontation between teammates, with Messi’s Argentina facing Croatia on Rakitic on 21 June.
