The Head Coach of Atlas Lions’ Herve Renard has announced the final 23-man squad that will represent Morocco at the World Cup.
The announcement comes hours before the team’s fourth pre-World Cup friendly against Slovakia. Morocco have already played three matches against Serbia, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine having won the first two and drawn the third. They will also face Estonia on June 9.
Having announced a 23-man squad ahead of the friendlies, Renard made one surprising change in the final squad with Youssef En-Nesyri, who was originally named on the stand-by list, coming in for Badr Banoun.
