FIFA SERMONS GOVERNMENT, GFA AND CLUBS IN ZURICH ON THE FUTURE OF GHANA FOOTBALL

FIFA’s Director of Member Associations for Africa and the Caribbean, Mr. Veron Osengo-Omba has issued an official communique for a joint meeting with the Government and some members of the suspended Ghana Football Association.

The letter was addressed to Mr. Issac Kwame Asiamah, the Minster for Youth and Sports and copied to the Confederation of African Football. The focus of the content is another meeting with the two parties in order to come to a consensus on the decision of the Government to dissolve the GFA.

The meeting is due to take place at the FIFA head quarters in Zurich on Thursday, 28th June at 14:00 CET. This follows an initial meeting held in Accra last week to address the current fall outs of the Anas Number 12 video on Ghana Football Expose.

The GFA would be represented by Mr. Kweku Eyiah Abaku and Mr. Alex Asante where as The former head of the GFA Nana Sam Brew Butler and Former Presidential Candidate for PPP, Mr. Papa Kwasi Ndoum will represent will represent the elite clubs. Nana Butler is the CEO of Ebusua Dwarfs and Papa Ndoum is the Owner of Elmina Sharks both located in the Central Region of Ghana.
