After parting ways from Inter Allies FC, Japanese coach Kenechi Yatsuhashi who seems to have found favour with Ghanaian clubs as been confirmed as the new coach for Aduana FC.
The Management of the Dormaa based club dismissed former coach Yusif Abubakir and just after 48 hours confirmed a deal with Kenechi. Yusif was until his departure handling the team to compete in the on going CAF Confederations Cup 2018.
Though Yusif won the league with Aduana in the previous season, he has had bad relationship with the supporters of the club who claim the experienced coach is not up to the African task.
This followed after a just one week when Kenechi was dismissed by the Management of Tema based club Inter Allies.
Mr. Albert Commey, the Chief Executive Officer of the club, who disclosed this to sources close to www.ghanamansports.com explained that the Japanese trainer was introduced to the playing body on his arrival in Dormaa-Ahenkro yesterday.
Mr Commey, however, declined to give details of the new contract which is yet to be made public.
While Aduana Stars supporters instigated Coach Abubakar’s exit due to the club’s poor performance in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup campaign, pundits allay fears that the Japanese trainer might not be the right choice for the Ghanaian champions.
Kenechi has previously had stints with Accra Hearts of Oak in the 2015/2016 season, Ifeanyi Ubah FC of Nigeria in 2016 and International Allies just this season.
Aduana are currently bottom in their group with just one point gained from their 3-3 draw against Raja Casablanca of Morocco in their last outing at Dormaa-Ahenkro on May 16.
Vita Club lead the table with four points, while ASEC and Raja follow in that order with 3 points and two points respectively.
