Preparation plans for Ghana’s Female U-20, The Black Princesses Team have been altered as handlers cancel trip to Spain. The U- 20 side are still preparing for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in August to be hosted by France.
The Black Princesses were initially due to leave the shores of Ghana on Wednesday for Spain where they were to engage in some friendly games against some advanced opponents ahead of their World Cup in France.
The plans for travelling were changed by the Liaison Team for Ghana Football. The Dr. Amoah led team had to cancel the Spain trip as a result of visa challenges and tight schedule.
This has come about as a result of the Ghana Football Expose, dubbed Number 12. The famous Anas exposé has forced the leaders to the alter plans for the Princesses to make it before the tournament. The team had to break camp for 21 days when the unfortunate incident happened therefore causing delayance of their already drawn programme.
The Black Princesses will move from Ghana to France to start the tournament fully on Monday as they kick start the tournament against host nation, France on the 5th of August, 2018.
They will then take on Netherlands and New Zealand respectively in the other group games.
