Songne Yacouba, scored both goals in each half to give the Porcupine Warriors well-deserved bragging rights over their arch-rivals.

Although Mr. Noonan expressed disappointment over the loss, he was full of hope his side will come out better.

“No excuse; back to work”, the MD tweeted and expressed the hope the team would work extra hard to get victory over Kotoko in the second leg.

The two sides will clash again at the same venue on Sunday September 2. They will however play a competitive game in honour of the former President John Agyekum Kuffour on 28th October. The former President will be celebrating his 80th birthday in December and this will be part of funding his foundation.
