ASAMOAH GYAN AND WAKASO RETURN TO BLACK STARS FOR SIERRA LEONE CLASH

Katakyie James Kwasi Appiah, the Coach of Ghana’s senior National team, Black Stars has released his list of men for the October double header against Sierra Leone.

The Black Stars will play against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in a double header on October 11 and 15 respectively.The first leg will come off in Kumasi before the second one takes place in Freetown.

Coach Appiah has given his attention to some old faces who were left out in the current past assembling of the national squad. Captain Asamoah Gyan has regained favour of his coach after he was ignored for some time due to lack of fitness. Spanish based Mubarak Wakaso also got a call up after been absent for some matches.

Turkey-based Bernard Mensah, Hibernian winger Thomas Agyepong, Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom as well as Columbus Crew defender Jonathan Mensah all return for the match.

Emmanuel Boateng who was declared fit not long ago also returns in the place of his Levante team-mate Dwamena. The only local player who got the opportunity to be part of the Sierra Leone wagon is Felix Annan. There have been some media outcry for the goal keeper who plays Kumasi Asante Kotoko to be given a chance in the team.
