The General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Mr Isaac Addo has resigned from his post due to challenging ill health.
This was confirmed by the Normalization Committee of Ghana Football Association during a meeting with the media in Accra on Wednesday.
A member of the Committee, Naa Odofoley Nortey, said Mr Addo intimated to the four-man committee that he had some health challenges and therefore needed sometime off to seek medical attention.
In his absence, Mr. Alex Asante his deputy will take charge of all administrative issues of the Association. Mr. Asante is also the currently the International Relations Officer for the FA.
Prior to his resignation, Mr. Addo was rumoured to be uncomfortable working with his bosses due to his allegiance to his former boss, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi.
