Bashiru Hayford wants to stay on as Black Queens Coach

Black Queens coach, Bashiru Hayford has pushed his employers to the wall as he requests of his fate. He said this after failing to guide the Queens to semi finals of the 2018 Women’s African Cup of Nations.

As hosts of the tournament, Ghanaians were of high spirits that Coach Hayford would help make the dream of winning the trophy a reality.

During the post match pres conference after the game, the former Ashgold coach made his plans clear that he would like to continue at his post if confirmed by his bosses.

“It is not me, it is the authorities,” Coach Bash explained.

“I am a coach who is prepared to train.

“If I am fit and still alive and they say coach Bashir Hayford come and help as I am doing then I will because this is service to the nation.

“But if they say I should make way for another coach then fair enough, I would.”

Ghana finished third in Group A having garnered four points with Cameroon and Mali the teams to progress from the group to the semi-finals.
