Kotoko set for Cameroon with 18 players

Coach Charles Kobina Akunnor has released a list of eighteen players who will fly to Cameroon on Friday ahead of the CAF Confederations Cup game against Coton Sports.

The Kumasi lads will take on their counterparts in Cameroon on Sunday at 2:30 GMT.

The Kotoko team is expected to leave the Kotoka International Airport on Friday en-route to Cameroon where they play Coton Sport in the first leg of the eliminator.

The club’s official website confirmed the contingent for the trip been led by Mr. George Amoako, the General Manager of the club. The contingent also includes management members, Nana Kwame Dankwah, Samuel Sarfo Duku (Esq) and photojournalist Gideon Boakye Botwe.

C. K. Akonnor leads the technical bench which also has assistant coach, Samuel Akakpo Patron team manager, Henry Ohene Brenya, goalkeepers’ trainer, Joseph Baah, physical trainer, Emmanuel Amartey, and medical staff Dr. Christiana Baah and Alexander Gyinaye Junior.

The Teams includes:

GOALKEEPERS: Muntari Tagoe, Felix Annan

DEFENDERS: Augustine Sefah, Ismail Abdul Ganiyu, Amos Frimpong, Abass Mohammed, Wahab Adams, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu.

MIDFIELDERS: Richard Senanu, Kwame Bonsu, Umar Basiru, Stephen Nyarko, Prince Acquah, Maxwell Baakoh, Emmanuel Gyamfi.

STRIKERS: Obed Owusu, Songne Yacouba, Safiu Fatawu
