Former Black Stars defender, John Paintsil has confirmed the purchase of former Premier league champions Wa All Stars.
Paintsil bought the club from former President of Ghana Football Association, Lawyer KWESI NYANTAKYI.
The former Westham full back confirmed on his twitter handle that the name of the club would be changed after the final transfer issues are done.
“The name of the club has been changed to Stallions FC. This name was changed by special resolution… with the approval of the registry of companies on 28th February, 2019. It was incorporated… as a company limited by guarantee…” Paintsil tweeted.
It still remains an uncertainty whether the club will still be based at Wa or a different abode would be given to the team
