FIFA nominate Djamel Belmadi for best coach award

Algeria’s Djamel Belmadi has been nominated as a candidate for the FIFA best coach award.

The Technical Committee of FIFA released a list of ten coaches to be pruned down to three in a months time.

Djamel Belmadi (ALG) – Algeria national team
Didier Deschamps (FRA) – France national team
Marcelo Gallardo (ARG) – River Plate
Ricardo Gareca (ARG) – Peru national team
Pep Guardiola (ESP) – Manchester City
Jurgen Klopp (GER) – Liverpool
Mauricio Pochettino (ARG) – Tottenham Hotspur
Fernando Santos (POR) – Portugal national team
Erik ten Hag (NED) – Ajax
Tite (BRA) – Brazil national team

The nominees include Mr. Djamel Belmadi who guided Algeria to win their second African Cup trophy after 29 years.

Brazil’s Tite is also on the list after he also won the Copa America with his national side.

Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp also appears on the list with the UEFA Champions triumph as his advantage.

Pep Guardiola will also have a great chance to win after he won all four local competitions with Manchester City in England.
