Madam Abiba Atta Forson has been elected to represent Women’s football at the newly structured Executive Committee of Ghana Football Association.
The headquarters of the Ghana Football Football Association in Accra was the centre of attraction today as all stakeholders of the game converged for the elections.
Election for Women’s representative on the Executive Committee was first on the electoral agenda after which the Chairman of the Regional Football Associations were also opened up for voting.
Madam Abiba Atta won the slot with 8 votes beating her closest competitor Evelyn Nsiah by only one vote.
Rosalind Amoh polled only one vote while Edna Quagraine had no vote from the delegates.
It was no surprising for Madam Abiba because of her popularity in the formation of women’s football in the country.
She is also the owner of Fabulous Ladies in Kumasi.

Chairman of Regional Associations
Mr. Linsford Asamoah, the Chairman of the Eastern Regional Football Association was also voted as the Overall Chairman for the Regional Football Associations.
He would be representing the regional football at the Executive Committee of the GFA.
