Randy Abbey, the former Head of Communications for the Ghana Football Association has been voted for to represent Division One League on the Executive Council of Ghana Football Association.
The Division One League had three slots on the Council, therefore Randy would be joined by Mr. Mark Addo of Nzema Kotoko and Anim Addo.
Voting was held in the afternoon at the Conference Hall of the Ghana Football Association in Accra on Thursday.
The owner of Kpando Heart of Lions, Randy Abbey got 26 votes out of a total of 48 for one of the three slots for the Division One league Representatives.
The Owner of Nzema Kotoko, Mark Addo also pulled 25 votes with the manager of Asamoah Gyan, Anim Addo also pulled 19 votes to come third.
Veteran football administrator Alhaji Grusah shockingly missed out on a seat on the GFA Exco after getting only 9 votes.
Other candidates who lost at the end of the elections include Lawyer Kweku Eyiah, Gideon Ofosu, Justice Boison, as well as Erick Oppong and Otuo Acheampong a popular sports journalist.
