Head Coach of Ghana’s senior National Team, James Kwasi Appiah has named his 23 man squad for the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
Ghana’s Black Stars have been pegged in the same group (C) with South Africa,Sudan and then Sao Tome and Principe.
The first game is due to take place in November against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
The Black Stars will play South Africa on November 14 at home before flying out to face Sao Tome and Principe four days later.
Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has been dropped as Harrison Afful makes a return into the team after been left out of this year’s AFCON.
Kwasi Appiah has given way to new entrants as former Hearts of Oak forward Torric Jibril, Spain based duo Iddrisu Baba and Mohammed Salisu, as well as German based Christopher Antwi Adjei gaining a call up.
