King Faisal fall to Olympics in Kumasi

King Faisal could not get the win they hoped for ahead of the Week Eight fixture against Accra Great Olympics.

Olympics beat King Faisal 4-3 in a dramatic game played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The Dade Boys went ahead in the first half with a penalty which was converted by Emmanuel Klottey. Faisal tried to equalize but could not utilize the various chances created.

Faisal fell again when Olympics made it 2-0 after just five minutes into the second through an own goal. They were awarded a penalty and Osman Ibrahim stepped up to convert the penalty to make it 2-1.

Unfortunately, Faisal went down by one man when was given the second yellow card for a silly foul on Emmanuel Klottey.

Faisal were not the least perturbed as they threw everything into attack and were finally rewarded from their constant pressure on the Olympics defense.

Osman Ibrahim connected to a drive from Kwabena Owusu to make it 2-2

Olympics went on to make it 3-2 in the 74th minute through Razak Yussif lower shot but Baba Yahaya connected a cross to make it 3-3.

Gladson Awako broke the hearts of the Kumasi fans when he struck home the fourth goal after 85 minutes of play.

This leaves Faisal with three points and last placed on the league table.
