Regional Football to come alive in March

Regional Football leagues in Ghana are scheduled to kick off the weekend of March 20-23, 2020.

This was announced by the Ghana Football Association on their official website.

The Excutive Committee of Ghana Football Association revealed this at a meeting with the Regional Football Heads on Tuesday.

The Division 2 league and other lower tier competitions will all kick off next month after a 2-year absence.

The Juvenile Colts Competitions (U13, U15 & U17) will also commence on the same date as well as the Women’s Division 1 league.

1000 Balls to be shared

The GFA also made it known that they would be distributing 1000 footballs to the various teams across the country through the RFAs.

1000 PUMA match balls to be distributed to RFAs

Each RFA will receive 100 footballs to be used as match balls for the regional leagues which will commence next month.

Some RFAs have already received their share of the footballs which is being distributed at the GFA Secretariat.

The GFA President, Mr Kurt E.S Okraku made the request to PUMA, kit sponsors of our National Teams.

This is to enhance the development of grass-root football in the country.
