The ghana fa medical doctor claims the black stars captain is scuffling with accidents due to his long duration of football career.
The Ghana Football Association medical group member Dr Prince Pambo has shared his opinion on the injury issues of black stars captain Asamoah gyan.
The 31-year old antique limped off in the early stages of his side Al Ahli’s 2-0 defeat to Al jazira at the top of table clash of the Arabian gulf league last week.
Before the injury, gyan abandoned training of ghana’s 2018 fifa world cup qualifying game against egypt and did not make the experience to alexandria. Gyan has fragile bones
Mr Pambo disclosed this with kasapa fm:“ Normally, strikers are exposed to injuries more than defenders and midfielders and with Asamoah Gyan, one thing I can attribute his injuries to is the fact that he has played football for a very long period of time,”.
“And the longer a player plays football, the easier he sustains various degrees of injuries in his career.
“It has now gotten to a point where some of Gyan’s joints and other bones have become weak because of how consistent and proactive he has been as a player in the game. He has played football for a longer time and his age is not like in the past..”
he further stated: “I believe Gyan can recover soon and bounce back strongly from his troubles. However, this can only happen through proper rehabilitation at his club side.”
further assessments with the aid of medical doctors at al ahli indicate that, the previous sunderland superstar would be out of action for three weeks and is expected to make a return mid december.
Gyan boasts of 48 goals for the black stars in 96 appearances and is the Team’s all-time pinnacle scorer.
