Ghana are billed to try once again if they can win the Total African Cup 2017 after loosing to neighbours Ivory Coast on penalties in the last AFCON finals.
Vice captain Andres Dede Ayew spoke to the media after their friendly against Bunyokdor in Dubai. He said ” We have tried our best to win this trophy but we believe that this is our time to make our dream come through “.
Dede emphasised that in spite of the challenges they face as a team, the Stars are ready to go the extra mile to win this continental trophy for Ghana.
“Ghanaians have supported us for a long time and it’s time to pay them back by winning this for them”.
Dede was part of the Stars team that also lost to Egypt in 2010 final when Ahmed Gedo’s goal separeted
Ghana has won the African Cup four times and the last time wasseparated the two sides.
