Asamoah Gyan sets a new record at the AFCON

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has scored Ghana’s second goal at the Total African Cup of Nations against Mali.

This makes him the player to score in six consecutive African Cup of Nations tournament.

He score in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 and now 2017

Asamoah Gyan is also recorded to be the highest African goal scorer at the world cup with seven.

He has also scored 49 times in 98 appearances for the Black Stars. The Stars captain has also won silver twice at the Nations Cup, 2010 and 2015 with bronze in 2008.
