Toure brace ensures Bechem United wins their first game of the GPL season

The outstanding Ghana Premier League game between Great Olympics and Bechem United saw the Bechem based club ran out 3-1 winners to record their first win in the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League.

Bechem United participation in the CAF CONFEDERATIONS CUP led to their opening game against Olympics rescheduled to today to enable them compete in the African second tournament.

Bechem United was yet to win their first game in the 2017 GPL before today but was able to win 3-1 thanks to a brace from Ahmed Toure and a goal from Yaw Arnol ensuring Gray Englebert penalty goal was just a mere consolation.

Yaw Arnol put Bechem United infront in the 5th minute before Ahmed Toure added a second in the 35th minute. Bechem United were the better in the first half and duly led 2-0 at the end of the halftime.

Gray Englebert halved the deficit on 50 minutes through the penalty spot but as and when Olympics was searching for the 2nd of what will be the equaliser, Bechem United added a 3rd through Ahmed Toure as he netted his second of the day to secure Bechem United all maximum points to move them to 4 points after 3 games played.

The win leaves Bechem United 12th on the league log with Great Olympics lying in the relegation zone.
