The Premier League has announced the award winners for the month of February.
Harry Kane won the EA Premier League Player of the Month for his four goals scored in February. The English was lethal and splendid in the month and deserved the award.
The 23 year old beat five other contenders including Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and David Silva, West Bromwich Albion defender Gareth McAuley, Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic and Everton forward, Romelu Lukaku.
Harry Kane scored the winner in a 1-0 home win over Middlesbrough before scoring a hat-trick in when Spurs beat Stoke 4-0 at the White Hart Lane.
The Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month went to Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola who steered the Citizens to three wins in the month of February including the 4-0 win over WestHam and the 2-1 success over Swansea City. Pep Guardiola beat Chelsea’s manager, Antonio Conte and Manchester United’s manager, Jose Mourinho to the award.
The Carling Goal of the Month went to Chelsea’s midfielder, Eden Hazard for his solo goal against Arsenal. The Belgian took the ball from his own half, dazzled past three Arsenal players, shaking of Francis Coquelin and Shrokdan Mustafi to score past Petr Cech.
