The second round of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells was a bad moment for the British as their third loss of the day saw Kyle Edmund lose to defending champion, Novak Djokovic in straight sets.

The Serb beat the Briton 6-4 7-6(7-5) to advance to the third round of the BNP Paribas Open where he will play Juan Martin del Potro as he seeks to reclaim his number one spot from Andy Murray come the end of the year.
