Wes Morgan: Leicester City pulled the ‘impossible’

Leicester City beat Sevilla 2-0 to advance to the quarter finals of the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and captain, Wes Morgan who netted the first goal of the game said they did the ‘impossible’ again after defying all odds to win the league last season.

Leicester City has turned their difficult season around after the exit of Claudio Ranieri and has won the last three games after the exit of the Italian.

The captain told BT Sport after the game saying;

“I’m not sure if it will happen again but we did it.”

“We proved a lot of people wrong and pulled off the impossible again.”

The quarter final draw has no country barriers and Leicester City could face the big wings in Europe in the Friday draw. When asked about the draw on Friday and the possible candidates they want to face, Morgan said;

“We will take whoever comes.”

“It is a fantastic night for Leicester. We still need to concentrate on the league but we will enjoy this moment.”
