ERIC DONKOR- KOTOKO SUPPORTERS SHOULD CHEER US ON WHEN THINGS GET TOUGH

Eric Donkor Happy With Kotoko’s League Position

Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Eric Donkor, has expressed his discontentment over the attitude of some fans during their 1-1 draw with Aduana Stars in match-day 13 of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Stadium.

A section of the fans at the Babayara Sports Stadium yesterday booed striker, Kwame Boateng, who earlier missed from the penalty spot,as he was being replaced by Abass Mohammed who eventually restored parity for the Porcupine Warriors.

According to the highly rated versatile defender, he expected the fans to instill their confidence in the striker and personally felt very bad when he was being booed.

“Personally I wasn’t happy, he (Boateng) was giving his all but football is about up’s and down’s especially after missing the penalty. But his still got some skills in him.

“What I wanted the supporters to do was, at least bring back his confidence and cheer him up because he is player of Kotoko, but when they booed at him I felt bad,” Donkor
said in an interview.
