Richard Arthur who was supposed to join Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the second round of the Ghana Premier League has penned down a two and half year deal with Grupo Desportivo Interclubbe of Angola.
The 22 year old who joined Grupo from Wa All Stars joined the Angolan top flight after he scored in a pre season friendly for the club in a 2-0 win.
He was supposed to join Kumasi Asante Kotoko after the Kumasi based club secured his services for the end of the season but has ended up signing for the Angolan giants.
He is also part of the Black Stars B, the local team which is scheduled to partake in the CHAN qualifiers against Burkina Faso next month and also engage in a friendly against Egypt.
The 22 year old striker who enjoyed heavy spells at the Wa based club and was part of their championship winning squad after Wa All Stars won the Ghana Premier League last season.
Kotoko fans were in anxious mood when they heard of him signing for the club but will have to be disappointed as they will be going through the second round without his services.
