Venus Williams,37, have reached the quarter finals of the 2017 Wimbledon after beating Croat Ana Konjuh 6-3 6-2 on Centre Court.
The five time Wimbledon singles champion beat the 27th seed in less than an hour to move to the quarter finals and will face Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia in the quarters. Ostapenko, 20 beat Elina Svitolina 6-3 7-6 (8-6).
Elsewhere, Simona Halep beat Victoria Axarenka from Belarus 7-6 (7-3) 6-2 to set up a clash with Johanna Konta who beat Caroline Garcia. The Romanian is on course to take the world number one spot from Angelique Kerber if she can reach the semis.
Agnieszka Radwanska was beaten 6-2 6-4 by two time Grand slam winner Svetlana Kuznetsova who reached her fourth quarter final appearance at Wimbledon but first since 2007. She will with the win take on Garbine Muguruza of Spain after the Spanish eliminated world number one, Angelique Kerber in straight sets of 6-4 6-4.
The quarter final lists were completed after Slovak Magdalena Rybarikova reached her first Grand Slam quarter final with victory over Croat Petra Martic. She will face Coco Vandeweghe who saw off Dane Caroline Wozniacki 7-6 (7-4) 6-4.
