Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfield dynamo, Seth Opare has indicated that they have the ‘quality’ to beat Inter Allies.
The Porcupine Warriors is scheduled to play Inter Allies at the El Wak stadium today starting 15:00GMT in matchweek 22 of the Ghana Premier League and ahead of that, the midfielder says, Inter Allies cannot be a ‘stumbling’ block to Kotoko winning today.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been in a scintillating form under head coach, Steve Pollack after the Brit was appointed at the start of the second round and are yet to lose in all competitions under Pollack.
Opare who joined Kotoko from Dormaa based Aduana Stars has formed a strong midfield partnership with Jackson Owusu and ahead of the tie with Inter Allies, the 25 year old said;
“Inter Allies will not be a stumbling block from continuing their sensational resurgent run in the league”,
“We are well prepared for any team and nothing at all will stop us from winning today’s game, in fact Inter Allies cannot escape our fire”, he lamented.
He added; “Asante Kotoko has the quality and what it takes to truimph over Inter Allies on any day, and all the players are also poised to give their all in today’s match”.
The performance of Opare has increased and he has become an integral member of the team. Talking about his performance, Seth Opare said; “I am at this level because of hard work”.
“I never give up attitude and prayers. I dont joke with my training at all and always see to it that i have put in my best effort”, he continued.
“I came to Kotoko as one of the best players for Aduana Stars but unfortunately for me, I did not get enough preseason with Kotoko and that contributed to my poor form in the first round, the midfielder reiterated.
Kotoko will be without Jackson Owusu and Awal Mohammed for the trip to Inter Allies but can count on Obed Owusu who missed the last game against Medeama SC due to suspension.
